| Lady Lyell & Robin Hood, London SW8: | ” When our original builder was forced into closure by Covid, this left us with a lot of extra finishing work and unresolved snagging to be done. We were so fortunate as to be introduced by kind neighbours to “R&R Builders – Robert & Richard, who do a lot of work for a lot of lucky people in our neighbourhood near the Oval – now including ourselves.
These two very nice chaps have fixed absolutely everything we’ve asked them to do – and found and remedied several problems we hadn’t even known about. They give fair and detailed quotations and do the work to a very high standard – everything from fixing a tap to designing and constructing a wonderful ‘garden shed/folly’ with a mirrored door, all based on a £16 metal arch covered in marine ply and finished in brick-slips. Thoughtful and considerate, they meticulously tidy up at the end of each day. As well as being expert, perfectionist craftsmen, Robert and Richard could not be more helpful and personally jolly good company.
We cannot recommend them too highly”

| Patrick Graham, London Bridge SE1 : | “My bathroom was due a refresh and after some planning and designing Robert and Richard started the “rip and replace”. Robert and Richard were very considerate and left the flat in good order before they left at the end of each day. They consulted me at every stage and made no assumptions about important details, leaving notes and ringing me at work.”
Their work is to a very high standard and I am extremely pleased with my new bathroom.

| Ivan de las Cuevas Ruiz, Stockwell – London: | “I wish to take this opportunity to express my sincere gratitude for the works that R&R building have undertaken on my flat in Edrich house. Not only were they great with recommendations with regards to what to do in any of the rooms that they worked on but the quality and attention to details in the work were amazing. In the length of 10 years R&R transformed every room in my house from drab looking into well finished rooms that have served me well for nearly 13 years. They worked in my house while I was living in it and always left the house at the end of the day in a state that I could live in it.”
I would and have recommended their work to anyone who wish to transform their house, business without hassle and confidence of a job well done.

| Hannah Allison: | “Thank you to R&R Building Services for the amazing bathroom you have built for us. We absolutely love it. Bob gave his advice throughout the installation, which was great as everything he suggested was small things we hadn’t thought of. They are extremely tidy builders, looking after your home whilst working in it. The finish is immaculate and I couldn’t have asked for a better bathroom and builders. Very strongly recommend.”
Thank you again – we are very happy customers!

| Cassandra Wheeldon: | “R&R did a fantastic job for the work in our house – we initially brought them in to fully renovate our main bathroom, but once we saw firsthand their quality and work ethic, ended up bringing them back to help with fitting new doors and re-tiling our front garden. They are professional and considerate, and pursue nothing below excellent in the craftsmanship & quality in the work they do. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a trustworthy and knowledgeable team for help with any renovation work in their house. We are delighted with the results!”

| Richard de Friend, Director College of Law,
London WC1: | “I used R&R for all of the work required to install a new kitchen and bathroom in my London studio flat. Because the flat was small and part of a block, this work required a great deal of care. I was delighted with the results and was very impressed indeed with R&R’s efficiency and professionalism. The work was completed on time and within budget. I have no hesitation in using them again, or in recommending them, as indeed I have already done to friends and members of my family.”

| Louise
& Adrian McGrory, London SE24: | “Rob and Richard were highly recommended to me when I was looking for builders to fit a new kitchen, and they certainly lived up to that recommendation. They care about their work and make sure jobs are finished to a really high standard; they come up good suggestions and inventive solutions to problems they may encounter, and have a network of good quality electricians, plumbers etc who they organise to come in so you don’t have to sort that out separately. Rob is also cost conscious, which is a great trait in a builder and and will give you a full breakdown of costs so you fully understand how they are made up. R&R transformed our kitchen 4 years ago, and since then they’ve also done a fantastic job on our bathroom and numerous other jobs around our house. They are efficient and trustworthy and have not let us down. Not sure what we would have done without them! I feel safe in their hands and know they will come and sort out any problems that crop up as soon as they can.”

| Mark
Abing, London SW9: | “R&R have worked on three flats for me over the past 15 years, from everything from a boiler removal to a fairly substantial renovation project. One of the things I really appreciate is that they clean up daily so the premises are not a complete mess while work is being done. I regularly recommend them to friends (and in fact I should be getting a
commission!)."

| Robert F.,
London SE1: | “I used R&R Builders to carry out several jobs on my flat including decorating, which I was extremely pleased with. Much attention was placed on preliminary prep work including skimming the walls. Flawless results! R&R also installed a new bathroom, including new plumbing, electrics, walls, flooring,
under-floor heating… the works! I must say they were extremely professional, punctual, and TIDY. The work was carried out on time and well within budget. Very detailed estimates are firstly provided prior to any works being carried out. I am extremely satisfied with the level of service and work completed and have since recommended R&R to friends. I will contact R&R for my next project!”

| Laraaine
Roblin, London SW8: | “I have used R&R
Building Services for the last 4 years, having been recommended to Rob by a neighbour. Throughout this time Rob has carried out a number of different types of work on my early Victorian house and I have always been delighted with the high quality. Amongst other work, he has replaced my old London roof, replaced my kitchen ceiling following a nasty leak, has replaced various old wooden sash and casement windows with new handmade ones which are sympathetic to the style and era of the house and has redecorated the entire external three storey front and back all to a gold standard and at a good price. He is a very tidy and careful worker with all building mess being cleaned up as he goes along.
He has been very reliable in his attendances, always working within agreed timescales and has never let me down as I have been with other builders. He has also been cheerfully willing to come around at short notice to carry out smaller emergency works that have cropped up. I have also found him pleasant to work with and to be constructive in his suggestions regarding work to be carried out. He has always been readily available for discussions on the phone, by text and by email. Also, an important aspect to me, is that I am able to trust him to get on with work whilst I am not around, which has not always been the case with other builders. I will certainly use him again in the future and I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending him to others. All in all, a reliable and first class
service."

| Julian
Asgaralli, London SW5: | “R&R Builders have worked for me on three
separate occasions over the past 13 years. They have installed a state of the art kitchen in one apartment, Completely renovated and modernised a house in London and another apartment in London. I would thoroughly recommend Mr Veal and his team, their work and overall finish is of a standard that you would associate with master craftsmen in the past. They follow your instructions and concepts completely and also come up with excellent ideas of their own. They are punctual, reliable, totally honest, they keep within your budget so you always know where you stand. A very important factor for me is they are the cleanest and tidiest builders I know, they clean and clear up as they go, and at the end of each day, everything is left in absolute order. I would thoroughly recommend R&R
builders."

| Chris Marshall, Director
RPL, London SW9: | “Would hugely recommend R&R to anyone for most building and repair tasks,
Rhythmshop Productions Ltd (RPL) have used them on numerous occasions most
successfully."
|
| Mary
Searls, London SW9: | "I have had dealings with
R&R Building Services for nearly 10 years now. In this time they have satisfactorily undertaken the external painting of my Victorian terrace house twice and, given that an old house constantly requires attention, they have also undertaken a number of different jobs internally, both big and small, which have required a range of skills. R & R are always reliable and professional and also trustworthy, so during my recent letting of my house they have been entrusted with a key and have promptly responded to minor emergencies. I am now about to engage them again for a substantial building job, which their skilled team can fulfil."
|
| Phil Barnett (South
London): | “R&R Building Services renovated our old, neglected, crumbling Victorian house. We had a wreck. We now have a beautiful, comfortable home. Rob and Richard patiently worked from tanking the cellar at the bottom, to renewing the roof at the top, and everything in between. New electrics, new plumbing, new plastering, new woodwork, new windows, two new bathrooms, new ceilings and brickwork
pointing. They were creative in resolving problems, found cost-effective options, and were unbelievably clean and tidy. Always
cheerful, courteous and reliable, they were a pleasure to have around. I have no hesitation in recommending them.”
|
| Prof Maria
Ron, London SW8: | “I started using R&R about 15 years to decorate and do structural alterations to the house. I have not used any other builders since. I have found them reliable, skilled and honest and willing to rectify any mistakes. Communication is always clear and their work fairly priced. I am happy to be away and leave them in charge, even when the work they are doing is substantial. I have recommended R&R to my friends.”
|
| Edward Johnson, Horbury
Crescent Assn, London W11: | “It’s nearly 20 years since Rob and Richard first came to Horbury Crescent and completely renovated my flat, providing me with a brand new kitchen, a new water-heater in the bathroom, built-in wardrobes in the bedroom, storage cupboards for books and records in the living-room, and so on. Since then they have done work here for several of the other residents too, such as refurbishing kitchens and shower-rooms. A few years ago R&R also completely repainted the common parts walls and carried out work on the exterior, in particular making good the somewhat dilapidated mosaic tiles on our front door steps.
More recently they fixed the floorboards in my flat, so that my neighbour below was no longer bothered by the squeaking noises that occurred as I moved about above her! Last week they were here sprucing up the common parts walls again and deep-cleaning the hallway and stair carpet, as well as carrying out minor electrical jobs. This elicited comments from other residents on their “excellent work.”
R&R leave the place neat and tidy after each day’s work and invariably come in on time and budget. I have no hesitation in recommending them for all or any types of building and renovation work that may be needed.”
